Talk & Tell offers speech and language screenings at schools, daycares, and other pediatric centers. Offer your families this service to see if further intervention is needed for their child. A screening may be offered to individual families in home as well.
What is a screening?
A speech and language screening is a brief assessment of your child’s:
- Receptive language skills
- Expressive language skills
- Articulation skills
A speech and language screening is the first step in identifying areas of concern and does not replace a comprehensive speech and language evaluation. An evaluation may be recommended if there are areas of concern following the screening.
